Background and Approach

Hello and welcome! I’m a clinical psychologist who combines a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a practical, down-to-earth approach. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in private practice, co-direct assessment programs, consult, and teach at the university level. My focus is on helping you work through issues like anxiety, mood challenges, and relationship stress in a way that feels personal and genuine.

I earned my Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Waterloo and my bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Ontario. In our virtual sessions, my goal is to provide a space where you can explore, heal, and grow—at a pace that feels right for you.

In addition to individual therapy, I work with groups, especially first responders like police, fire services, and EMTs. Through virtual facilitation, I help teams build resilience, address conflicts, and foster trust in an open and safe setting. Each session is tailored to the unique needs of high-stress environments, offering down-to-earth strategies for working together and supporting each other.
